(1) The Authority shall have a separate fund.
(2) The fund under sub-section (1) shall have the following amounts:- (a) Amounts received from the Government of Nepal,
(b) amount received for establishment, pre-approval, grant of license of insurance company,
(c) amount received for grant or renewal of license of insurance intermediary,
(d) Regulation of insurance business (amounts received for fees,
(e) Funds received from foreign governments, international associations, organizations,
(f) Amount received from other sources.
(3) The approval of the Ministry shall be obtained before receiving the amount as per clause (e) of sub-section (2).
(4) The entire amount received as per sub-section (2) shall be deposited in an account in a licensed bank and financial institution in accordance with the prevailing law.
(5) All the expenses incurred on behalf of the authority shall be met from the amount accumulated in the fund as per sub-section (1).
(6) Out of the amount accumulated in the fund under this section, other than the amount allocated annually for the operation, management and insurance development of the authority, other than the amount that will be fifty percent, shall be deposited in the federal reserve fund annually.
(7) Other arrangements related to the operation of the fund under sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
